• Jeetendra personally recommended Anita Raj for her debut film 'Mehndi Rang Layegi' (1982) after seeing her in a small role in another movie. He told the producer she had the 'face of a star' and even shot a test scene with her to convince the team.
• On the sets of 'Asmaan Se Ooncha' (1989), Jeetendra would deliberately flub his lines in the first take just to make Anita Raj laugh and loosen up. She later said his playful teasing helped her stop being nervous around a senior star.
• Anita Raj once revealed that Jeetendra would bring homemade sweets from his wife Shobha on the first day of every shoot. It became a running tradition between them — she'd bring him a box of pedas on the last day of each film.
