Ghar Ghar Ki Kahani(1988)
Ghar Ghar Ki Kahani (transl. The story of every house) is a 1988 Hindi-language drama film directed by Kalpataru. The lead cast includes Rishi Kapoor, Jaya Prada, Anita Raj, Govinda, and Farah Naaz. The story is set in the wealthy Dhanraj household, where a violent mother-in-law terrorizes her daughters-in-law. The central conflict arises when a son falsely accuses his wife of infidelity based on his sister's lies. The film was a commercial success and declared a hit at the Indian box office. It is a remake of the Telugu film Santhi Nivasam (1960).

Storyline
Amar secretly marries Asha, but his mother's cruelty forces him to hide the truth. His brother Ram believes a lie that his wife Sita is cheating on him with Amar. Ram's jealousy tears the family apart. Sita must fight to prove her innocence before it is too late.
