Trivia
- The film's title is a famous line from the classic song 'Chura Liya Hai Tumne Jo Dil Ko' in the 1973 film 'Yaadon Ki Baaraat', also directed by Nasir Hussain.
- This was the only film where actor Rishi Kapoor and actress Rati Agnihotri were paired together as the lead romantic couple.
- The movie features a cameo appearance by veteran actor Pran, who played a pivotal role in many of Nasir Hussain's earlier successful films.
- Despite being a thriller, the film includes several lighthearted comedy scenes performed by actors like Paintal and Asrani.
- The soundtrack, composed by R.D. Burman, includes a song 'Ae Dil Kya Teri' that became popular but the film itself was not a major box office success.
- Director Nasir Hussain also wrote the story and screenplay, continuing his signature style of mixing family drama with suspense and romance.
- Parts of the film were shot in picturesque locations in Mahabaleshwar, a hill station in Maharashtra, which was a common setting for romantic scenes in Hindi films of that era.
