Trivia

  • The film's director, K. C. Bokadia, was also its producer and later became known for launching actor Govinda in 'Ilzaam' (1986).
  • It features actor Shashi Kapoor in a special appearance, though he is not part of the main cast listed in the synopsis.
  • The movie was filmed partly on a private island, which was an unusual and costly setting for a Hindi film at the time.
  • Actress Ranjeeta Kaur, who plays Anju, was already an established star but this role cast her in an unusually action-oriented part.
  • The soundtrack by music director Kalyanji-Anandji includes a song picturised on Shashi Kapoor, 'Tumse Badhkar Duniya Mein', which became popular.
  • The film's plot involving six men seeking revenge is reminiscent of Hollywood's 'The Dirty Dozen', though it is not an official adaptation.
  • Despite its action genre and star cast, the movie did not perform well commercially and is not widely remembered today.
