
Deepavali(2007)
Deepavali is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language romantic action film directed and co-written by S. Ezhil. It stars Jayam Ravi as Billu Mudaliar and Bhavana as Susi Chidambaram, with Vijayakumar, Lal, and Raghuvaran in supporting roles. The story follows Billu, a young man from the close-knit Royapuram neighborhood, who falls in love with Susi, the daughter of a feared criminal. Their relationship is tested when Susi develops PTSD from an accident and forgets her entire time in Chennai, including Billu. The film explores themes of love, memory, and keeping promises. Produced by Thirupathi Brothers, the film features music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by S. D. Vijay Milton. Deepavali was released on 9 February 2007 and became a commercial success.

Storyline
