Thiruttu Payale is a 2006 Indian Tamil-language black comedy thriller film written and directed by Susi Ganesan. The film stars Jeevan and Sonia Agarwal in lead roles, with Abbas, Malavika, Vivek, and Manoj K. Jayan in supporting roles. The story follows Manickam, a poor village boy who films an illicit affair between a rich married woman and her lover, then uses the footage to blackmail her. The film blends dark humor with suspense and moral consequences. It was produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram under AGS Entertainment and features music composed by Bharadwaj. Thiruttu Payale was released on 14 April 2006 and became a commercial success, grossing ₹400 million at the box office. It won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Third Best Film and was later remade in Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada.

Storyline
Manickam, a poor and lazy village boy, moves to Chennai and accidentally films a married woman's secret affair. He decides to blackmail her for easy money. But when he falls in love with a girl named Rosy, he tries to leave his criminal life behind. His past, however, refuses to let him go.
