Manmadhan (onscreen title Maanmathaun) is a 2004 Indian Tamil-language romantic psychological thriller film directed by A. J. Murugan in his debut. The film stars Silambarasan in a dual role as twin brothers and Jyothika as the female lead, with Goundamani, Sindhu Tolani, Atul Kulkarni, and Santhanam in supporting roles. The story follows a serial killer who targets women he considers immoral for cheating in love, while a naive woman who befriends him unknowingly gets entangled in his web of deception. The film was noted for being the first Tamil film to use digital color correction technology. It received positive reviews for its engaging narrative, technical polish, and Silambarasan's performance, and was a commercial blockbuster running for over 150 days. The film was released on 12 November 2004, coinciding with the Diwali festival.

Storyline
A young woman named Mythili is terrified when she meets Madhan Kumar because he looks exactly like the serial killer from her nightmares. As she gets to know him, she falls in love. But when women start disappearing, she suspects the man she loves is the killer. She must uncover the truth before she becomes his next victim.
