Gemini is a 2002 Indian Tamil-language crime action film written and directed by Saran. The film stars Vikram in the lead role, alongside Kiran Rathod, Kalabhavan Mani, and Murali. The story follows a North Madras gangster who falls in love and tries to reform his life while battling a rival. The film is based on a real incident where two gangsters reformed with police help. It was produced by AVM Productions and features music by Bharadwaj. The soundtrack, especially the song 'O Podu', became a cultural phenomenon in Tamil Nadu. The film received mixed reviews but was a major commercial success, grossing over ₹200 million. It won three Filmfare Awards South and helped revive the Tamil film industry after a series of failures. The film was released on 12 April 2002, two days before Tamil New Year.

Storyline
Gemini is a ruthless gangster in North Madras who controls a market through extortion. He falls in love with Manisha, a college girl, and hides his criminal identity from her. When his rival Teja tries to take over his territory, a violent gang war erupts. Gemini must choose between his old life of crime and the chance for a new beginning with the woman he loves.
