Devan is a 2002 Indian Tamil-language action film written and directed by Arun Pandian, marking his directorial debut. The film stars Arun Pandian in the title role, alongside Meena, Vivek, and Sai Kumar. Vijayakanth, Karthik, and Kausalya appear in extended cameo roles. The story follows Alex Devan, a man who murders a photographer and is later revealed to be seeking revenge against a black marketeer who killed his sister. The film features a climax shot at the Kakinada harbour with helicopters, ships, and thousands of tractors. Music was composed by Ilaiyaraaja. Storyline
Alex Devan is a man on a mission. He murders a photographer and targets a black marketeer named Chetta Raghu. But when CBI officer Rathnavel arrests him, the truth comes out. Devan is not a cold-blooded killer — he is a brother seeking revenge for his sister's brutal murder. Now he must escape the law and make Chetta pay.
