
Youth(2002)
Youth is a 2002 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy drama film directed by Vincent Selva. It stars Vijay as Shiva and Sandhya as Sandhya, with Yugendran, Vivek, Manivannan, and Sindhu Menon in supporting roles. The story follows Shiva, a cook who is left at the altar on his wedding day and moves to Chennai, where he falls in love with a woman who does not return his feelings. The film is a remake of the Telugu film Chiru Navvutho (2000). It received positive reviews and was a commercial hit. The soundtrack was composed by Mani Sharma and features popular songs like 'Aal Thotta Bhoopathi Nanada' with Simran in an item number. The film was released on 19 July 2002.

Storyline
Shiva is a cook who gets abandoned by his bride on their wedding day. He moves to Chennai for a fresh start and falls in love with Sandhya after saving her from goons. But Sandhya sees him only as a friend and gets engaged to another man. Shiva must find a way to win her heart before she marries someone else.
