• Pandu and Madhan Bob first shared screen space in Gopura Deepam (1997) because the director needed two actors who could play contrasting comic foils — Pandu the loud, over-the-top sidekick and Madhan Bob the deadpan, nervous straight man. The pairing clicked so well that the director immediately cast them together again in Pennin Manathai Thottu (2000).
• In Super Kudumbam (2001), Pandu would deliberately flub his lines during rehearsals to make Madhan Bob laugh, and the director kept those genuine, unscripted giggles in the final cut. That's why their scenes feel like two friends messing around, not actors performing.
• During the shoot of Varushamellam Vasantham (2002), Pandu and Madhan Bob shared a room in a budget lodge for three weeks. They'd stay up past midnight rewriting each other's dialogues, often swapping roles just to test which version got more laughs from the crew.

• Madhan Bob once told a magazine: 'Pandu is the only actor who can make me laugh even when I'm not in the mood to act. On the sets of Motta Shiva Ketta Shiva (2017), he'd do a silly walk between takes, and I'd forget my lines because I was laughing so hard.'
• After Jeyikkira Kuthira (2017) wrapped, Pandu and Madhan Bob stopped working together entirely. No fallout — just drifted apart. Pandu later said in an interview that they 'ran out of scripts that needed both of us.' They haven't shared a frame since.
