Kadhal Azhivathillai (transl. Love can never be destroyed) is a 2002 Indian Tamil-language romantic action film written, directed, and produced by T. Rajendar. The film stars Silambarasan in his debut as a lead actor, alongside Charmy Kaur. The story follows Vallavan, a poor college student who falls in love with Charmy, the daughter of a powerful minister. The minister opposes their relationship and uses his political influence to separate them. The film also features a subplot about Vallavan's father, who mentally harasses his wife due to false suspicions. T. Rajendar appears in a supporting role as Vakkeel Dada, a lawyer who helps the young couple. The film was released on 4 November 2002 on Diwali day and received mixed reviews from critics. It performed averagely at the box office.
