Kakkai Siraginilae (Wings of the Crow) is a 2000 Indian Tamil-language drama film written and directed by P. Vasu. The film stars R. Parthiban as Vellaisamy and Preetha Vijayakumar as Gayatri, with Manasa, K. Viswanath, Lakshmi, Visu, and Vadivelu in supporting roles. The story follows an orphan who dedicates his life to protecting his foster sister after their parents die, only to face cruel village gossip that threatens their bond. Storyline
An orphan named Vellaisamy is raised by a kind Brahmin couple. When the couple dies, he vows to protect their daughter Gayatri until she marries. But the village spreads ugly rumors about their relationship. Vellaisamy must find a way to silence the gossip and secure Gayatri's future without losing his own honor.
