En Aasai Rasave is a 1998 Indian Tamil-language dance drama film directed and written by Kasthuri Raja. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan as Valayapathi, a revered karakattam dancer, alongside Murali, Radhika, Roja, and Suvalakshmi. The story follows Valayapathi and his son Muthumani, both karakattam artists, whose lives are disrupted by the arrival of a mysterious dancer named Nagajyoti. The narrative explores family separation, hidden identities, and the healing power of traditional folk dance. The film features a folk-infused soundtrack composed by Deva, with lyrics by the director. Malaysia Vasudevan won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer for his work in this film. En Aasai Rasave was released on 28 August 1998.
