Pongalo Pongal(1997)
Pongalo Pongal is a 1997 Indian Tamil-language comedy film directed by V. Sekhar. The film stars Vignesh, Vadivelu, Charle, Chinni Jayanth, and Vivek in lead roles. Sangita Madhavan Nair, Kovai Sarala, Indhu, and Latha play the female leads. The story follows five jobless graduates from a poor village who start a milk business after being cheated by a corrupt politician. The film explores themes of friendship, hard work, and standing up against exploitation. It was produced with music by Deva and cinematography by G. Rajendran. Pongalo Pongal was a commercial success upon its release on 9 May 1997. Director V. Sekhar won the Cinema Express Award for Best Story for this film.

Storyline
Five poor, jobless graduates in a Tamil village are called useless by their fathers. After a politician cheats their families, the friends decide to become milk suppliers. They must fight a cruel landlord who wants to destroy their business. Can their friendship and hard work help them succeed?
