Nerrukku Ner is a 1997 Indian Tamil-language romantic action film written and directed by Vasanth and produced by Mani Ratnam. The film stars Vijay and Suriya in lead roles, with Simran and Kausalya as the female leads. Raghuvaran, Shanthi Krishna, Baby Jennifer, Karan, Vivek, Manivannan, and Prakash Raj appear in supporting roles. The story follows a passport officer whose confession of infidelity leads to a divorce and custody battle, while a criminal kidnaps his daughter for revenge. The film features music composed by Deva and cinematography by K. V. Anand. Nerrukku Ner marked the acting debut of Suriya, who later became a major star in Tamil cinema. Storyline
