Poochudava(1997)
Poochudava is a 1997 Indian Tamil-language romance film directed by K. R. Udayasankar and produced by K. Jayaraman. The film stars Abbas as Kannan and Simran as Nandhini, with supporting performances from Manivannan, Nagesh, Kalpana, Jai Ganesh, Chinni Jayanth, P. C. Ramakrishna, and Kavitha. The story follows a rebellious college student who falls in love with a strong-willed girl and must win her strict father's approval. The film went through development hell and was originally produced by MG Pictures before being transferred to Jayalakshmi Movie Makers due to financial issues. It was the first film to cast Abbas and Simran together, though their other film VIP (1997) released earlier. The soundtrack was composed by Sirpy with lyrics by Palani Bharathi. The film was released on 12 December 1997.

Storyline
Kannan is a rebellious college student who loves teasing Nandhini. She cannot stand his attitude at first. But soon they fall in love. Nandhini's strict father opposes their relationship. Kannan must prove his love and win her father's approval before it is too late.
