Watchman Vadivelu(1994)
Watchman Vadivel is a 1994 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by A. Jagannathan. The film stars Sivakumar, Sujatha, Anand Babu, and Kasthuri. It is a remake of the Telugu film Surigaadu. The story follows a watchman named Vadivel who sacrifices everything for his son Raja. Raja lies about his family background to marry a millionaire's daughter. He then tricks his parents into becoming servants and steals their property. When Saro, Vadivel's wife, falls ill with heart disease, Vadivel sues his own son in court. The film is known for its emotional weight and strong performances. It was Sivakumar's 175th film as an actor. The soundtrack was composed by Deva with lyrics by Vaali. The film was released on 22 July 1994.

Storyline
Vadivel is a watchman who loves his son Raja more than anything. Raja lies to everyone, pretending his family is rich. He marries a millionaire's daughter and hides his real parents. When Raja invites his parents to live with him, it is only to turn them into servants. Vadivel must fight his own son to save his wife's life.
