Pudhiya Mugam is a 1993 Indian Tamil-language thriller film directed by Suresh Chandra Menon. The film stars Revathi, Menon, and Vineeth in lead roles. The story follows Raja, a man who becomes an assassin after his fiancée is murdered. He undergoes plastic surgery to change his face and starts a new life as Major Shiva. He marries Anjali and joins the Indian Army. Years later, his past returns to haunt him when old terrorist accomplices recognize his son. The film features a soundtrack by A. R. Rahman. It received mixed reviews from critics upon release. The film was shot in Sri Lanka and Kodaikanal. It was released on 28 May 1993.

Storyline
