  • Composer Ilaiyaraaja's soundtrack for the film included a hit song 'Kadhal Enbadhu', sung by S. P. Balasubrahmanyam and K. S. Chithra.
  • The film's plot of a village election clash mirrored real-life political themes common in Vijayakanth's movies of that era.
