Naane Varuven is a 1992 Indian Tamil-language horror thriller film directed by Sripriya. The cast includes Rahman, Sripriya, Sasikala, Radhika Sarathkumar, and Gautami. The story follows Naga Rani, an Ichchadhari snake queen who seeks to reunite with her reincarnated husband Raja. She uses shape-shifting powers to deceive him and his fiancée Priya. The film serves as a spiritual sequel to the 1979 film Neeya? and blends mythology with horror. Critics praised its technical values, background score, and screenplay. The Indian Express reviewer N. Krishnaswamy noted the film's dramatic highs and excellent camera work by Prasad Babu. The music was composed by Shankar–Ganesh. The film was released on 27 February 1992.

Storyline
