'Vaa Arugil Vaa' is a 1991 Indian Tamil-language supernatural horror film directed by Kalaivanan Kannadasan. It stars Vaishnavi, Raja, and Ramya Krishnan in lead roles. The story follows Lakshmi, a young bride murdered by her greedy in-laws, whose vengeful spirit enters a voice-responsive doll. Set in the village of Valivalam near Nagapattinam, the film blends family drama with horror. The doll becomes a tool for revenge, killing each family member responsible for Lakshmi's death. The film was inspired by the American film 'Child's Play' (1988). Critics praised Vaishnavi's performance and Chanakya's music. The Indian Express and Kalki magazine gave positive reviews. The film was remade in Kannada as 'Aathma Bandhana' in 1992.

Storyline
