Balupu is a 2013 Indian Telugu-language action comedy film directed by Gopichand Malineni. The film stars Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan, Anjali, and Prakash Raj in lead roles. It follows Ravi, a bank collection agent in Bangalore, who sets out to teach a lesson to a girl who cheats men for fun. The story takes a dramatic turn when Ravi's hidden past as a gangster is revealed. The film was produced by Prasad Vara Potluri under PVP Cinema. It became a major commercial success, grossing over ₹61 crore worldwide. Balupu was the seventh highest-grossing Telugu film of 2013. The music was composed by S. Thaman. The film was remade in Bengali as Herogiri in 2015.

Storyline
Ravi works as a bank collection agent in Bangalore and enjoys a happy life with his father. When his friend is cheated by a girl named Shruti, Ravi decides to teach her a lesson by pretending to fall in love with her. But his plan backfires when his violent past as a gangster catches up with him.
