• In Balupu (2013), Brahmanandam's character is a bumbling sidekick who keeps messing up Anjali's plans. She had to improvise most of her reactions because he would change his dialogue on set every single take. She later said she learned to never fully rehearse with him — just react live.
• During the shoot of Masala (2013), Brahmanandam would deliberately flub his lines to make Anjali break character. She got so frustrated that she started carrying a small notebook to write down his actual dialogue from the previous take — so she could predict his next move.
• They first met on the sets of Balupu (2013). Anjali was nervous about sharing screen space with a comedy legend. Brahmanandam broke the ice by pretending to be a spot boy and offering her chai. She didn't realize it was him until he started doing his signature laugh.
• In Geethanjali (2014), a horror comedy, Brahmanandam played a terrified ghost hunter while Anjali played a ghost. Their scenes worked because she stayed completely still and serious — letting his over-the-top panic do all the comedy. He later told a magazine that her deadpan face made him funnier.
• Their pairing in Sarrainodu (2016) was so popular with family audiences that the director, Boyapati Srinu, wrote a whole extra comedy track for them during reshoots. That track became one of the most shared clips from the film on YouTube in its first week.
• Anjali once said in an interview: 'Brahmanandam garu doesn't act with you — he acts at you. You just have to survive and not laugh. I failed at that in every single film we did together.'
