• Their first film together, Chanti (1992), was a small role for both — Brahmanandam played a comedic sidekick and Ravi Teja was a junior artist. Neither was a star yet. They bonded over shared struggle on set.
• In Venky (2004), Brahmanandam’s timing gave Ravi Teja space to go over-the-top. Ravi would set up a punchline with his energy, then Brahmanandam would undercut it with a deadpan look. That push-pull became their signature.
