Trivia
- The film's title 'Veera' was also the name of a 1994 Telugu blockbuster starring Chiranjeevi, but the two movies are unrelated.

- Actress Bhavana, who played Kabaddi Chitti, had to undergo training to perform the kabaddi sequences realistically.
- The movie's soundtrack was composed by Mani Sharma, who was a frequent collaborator with director Ramesh Varma in the early 2000s.
- Despite its rural setting, portions of the film were shot in and around Hyderabad for logistical convenience.

- The film's release faced competition from other medium-budget Telugu films, impacting its initial box office performance.
