
Sri Rama Rajyam(2011)
Sri Rama Rajyam is a 2011 Indian Telugu-language devotional film directed by Bapu, co-written with Mullapudi Venkata Ramana. The film stars Nandamuri Balakrishna as Rama, Nayanthara as Sita, Akkineni Nageswara Rao as Valmiki, and Srikanth as Lakshmana. It is a reboot of the 1963 film Lava Kusa and was Bapu's final directorial venture. The story follows Rama's return to Ayodhya after defeating Ravana, his decision to exile Sita due to public gossip, and the subsequent life of Sita and her twin sons Lava and Kusha in the forest with sage Valmiki. The film was praised for its visual grandeur, music by Ilaiyaraaja, and faithful storytelling. It won seven Nandi Awards including Best Feature Film, three Filmfare Awards South, and was screened at the 42nd International Film Festival of India. The film was commercially successful, grossing ₹72 crore in India.

Storyline
After defeating Ravana, Lord Rama returns to Ayodhya with Sita. But rumors about Sita's time in captivity force Rama to exile his pregnant wife. Alone in the forest, Sita is rescued by sage Valmiki and gives birth to twin sons. Years later, the twins unknowingly challenge their own father's army, leading to a dramatic confrontation that changes everything.
