Partnership facts

• Jeeva personally recommended Brahmaji for a key role in Sri Ramulayya (1999) after the director struggled to find the right actor. That film became their first collaboration.
• In Autonagar Surya (2014), Brahmaji’s deadpan comic timing forced Jeeva to slow down his usual intense delivery. Jeeva later said Brahmaji’s pauses made him a better listener on screen.
• During the shoot of Adhyakshaa (2008), Jeeva and Brahmaji shared a room in a small lodge for three weeks. They would rehearse dialogues at 2 AM, waking up the entire floor.
• The success of their comic track in Adhyakshaa (2008) directly led to Brahmaji being cast in a similar double-act role in the hit film Maryada Ramanna (2010), which was not a Jeeva film.
• Brahmaji once said in an interview: 'Jeeva never treated me like a sidekick. He would change his own lines to make my character look smarter. That’s rare.'
