Okariki Okaru is a 2003 Indian Telugu-language romantic drama film directed by Rasool Ellore in his directorial debut. The film stars Sriram and Aarti Chhabria in lead roles, with Manav Vij, Tanikella Bharani, and Radha Kumari in supporting roles. The story follows Kamesh, a young man from India, who falls in love with Swapna, an NRI girl, at a railway station. After a year of separation, Kamesh travels to the United States to find her, only to discover she is engaged to her cousin Deepak. The film explores themes of love, family duty, and persistence across continents. The music by M. M. Keeravani was critically acclaimed and commercially successful. Okariki Okaru was a box office hit and won the Nandi Award for Best Debut Director. The film was released on 1 September 2003.
