It stars Venkatesh in his 50th film appearance alongside Bhumika Chawla. The story follows a young musician who defies his IPS officer father's wishes to pursue a singing career while falling in love. The film features a hit soundtrack composed by Harris Jayaraj in his Telugu debut, with the song 'Sportive Boys' becoming a chart-topper. It won two Nandi Awards including Best Home Viewing Feature Film and Best Male Playback Singer for S. P. Balasubrahmanyam. The film was released on 10 April 2002 under the Creative Commercials banner.

Storyline
