→Trivia
- The film's title 'Manasantha Nuvve' translates to 'You Are in My Heart' and was inspired by a popular Telugu song from the 1980s film 'Prema'.
- This was the debut film for both lead actors Uday Kiran and Reema Sen, launching their careers in Telugu cinema.
- Director V. N. Aditya originally planned to cast a different actor but chose Uday Kiran after being impressed by his screen test.
- The childhood portions were shot extensively in the scenic Araku Valley, which became a memorable visual highlight of the film.
- The movie's soundtrack, composed by M. M. Keeravani, was a major hit and included the song 'Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana' which won a Filmfare Award.
- Despite being a romantic drama, the film incorporated a unique plot device of a magazine serial written by the heroine to reconnect with her lost love.
- The film was a surprise box office success, running for over 100 days in many theaters and achieving cult classic status over time.
