Aditya (born April 30, 1972, in Eluru, Andhra Pradesh) is a Telugu film director and screenwriter who began his career as an assistant director under Singeetham Sreenivasa Rao on films such as Brundavanam and Bhairavadeepam. His directorial debut Manasantha Nuvve (2001), starring Uday Kiran and Reemma Sen, was a major commercial success running over 200 days in theaters, and he followed it with Nenunnanu (2004), starring Nagarjuna and Shriya Saran, which was dubbed into Tamil and Hindi. He directed the action entertainer Aata (2007) with Siddharth and Ileana D'Cruz, demonstrating a consistent ability to deliver commercially viable Telugu films across genres. He received an honorary doctorate from George Washington University of Peace and served as a Central Jury member for the 68th Indian National Film Awards in 2022.
