Sultan is a 1999 Indian Telugu-language action drama film directed by Sarath. The film stars Nandamuri Balakrishna in a dual role as the terrorist Sultan and his twin brother Prudhvi Raj, alongside Krishna, Krishnam Raju, Roja, Rachana Banerjee, and Deepti Bhatnagar. The story follows a CBCID officer's pursuit of a masked terrorist, leading to the discovery that the terrorist has an identical twin brother living as a forest officer. The film features music composed by Koti and was released on 27 May 1999. It was later remade in Hindi under the same title. The film is known for Balakrishna's dual performance and its action sequences.

Storyline
A CBCID officer named Ashok is on a mission to catch a dangerous terrorist named Sultan, who always hides his face. When Ashok arrests a forest officer named Prudhvi, he discovers that Prudhvi is Sultan's identical twin brother. Now Prudhvi must help the police stop his brother before more innocent people die.
