Zanjeer (2013) is a Hindi crime action film directed by Apoorva Lakhia. It stars Ram Charan Teja, Priyanka Chopra, Sanjay Dutt, and Prakash Raj. The story follows ACP Vijay Khanna, an honest police officer transferred to Mumbai to dismantle an oil mafia run by Rudra Pratap Teja. Vijay is haunted by his parents' murder and discovers Teja is the killer. The film is a remake of the 1973 classic of the same name. It was released on 6 September 2013 and received negative reviews from critics, who criticised it as a weak copy of the original. The film was shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu, with the Telugu version titled Thoofan.

Storyline
