Trivia

  • The film's title 'Ready' was inspired by a popular 2008 Telugu film of the same name, which was also remade in Tamil.
  • Salman Khan performed many of his own stunts, including a scene where he jumps between moving cars without a stunt double.
  • A special song 'Character Dheela' was added after filming ended because test audiences wanted more of Salman's playful style.
  • The comedy track featuring Paresh Rawal and Mahesh Manjrekar was largely improvised during shooting.
  • The film was shot in Sri Lanka, but many scenes were set to look like they were in Punjab for a wider Indian appeal.
  • It was the first Bollywood film to be released in Albania, opening in theaters there shortly after its India premiere.
  • The movie's climax scene with a large cast and fireworks took over five nights to shoot due to coordination challenges.
