Trivia
- The film was shot on a real cruise ship, the MV Aquamarine, during an actual voyage from Singapore to Malaysia.
- Vinay Pathak's character Bharat Bhushan was originally created for the 2007 film 'Bheja Fry', which was a remake of the French film 'Le Dîner de Cons'.
- The sequel faced criticism for its plot, as it did not follow the 'dinner for fools' premise that made the first film popular.
- Actor Ranvir Shorey, who played a key role in the first film, does not appear in this sequel despite his character's prominence earlier.
- The film's soundtrack was composed by Sagar Desai, marking one of his early major film projects as a composer.
- It performed poorly at the box office compared to the first film, which was a low-budget sleeper hit.
- Director Sagar Ballary also co-wrote the screenplay, attempting to shift the setting from a dinner party to a game show and cruise.
