Teen Patti is a 2010 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Leena Yadav. The film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ben Kingsley, R. Madhavan, Shraddha Kapoor, and Raima Sen. It follows mathematics professor Venkat Subramaniam, who develops a theory that can predict randomness in the three-card game Teen Patti. He tests his theory in real gambling dens with the help of students, leading to greed and betrayal. The film is inspired by the English film 21 and features a cameo by Ajay Devgn. It was shot in India and England, with gambling dens created in abandoned factories and dockyards. Teen Patti received negative reviews from critics and was a box office disaster.
