
Khatta Meetha(2010)
Khatta Meetha is a 2010 Indian Hindi-language political satire comedy film directed by Priyadarshan. It stars Akshay Kumar as Sachin Tichkule and Trisha as Gehna Ganpule. The supporting cast includes Rajpal Yadav, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, and Johnny Lever. The story follows a struggling contractor in the corrupt town of Phaltan who fights against the system after a bridge collapse kills many people. The film is a remake of Priyadarshan's own 1988 Malayalam film Vellanakalude Nadu. It received mixed reviews upon release but later gained a cult following for its sharp critique of corruption in public infrastructure. The film was shot in Phaltan and Panchgani in Maharashtra. It was released on 23 July 2010.

Storyline
Sachin Tichkule is a small-town contractor with big dreams. But he has no money to bribe corrupt officials. His ex-girlfriend Gehna is now the municipal commissioner. When a bridge collapse kills innocent people, Sachin uncovers a deadly conspiracy. He must risk everything to bring the powerful criminals to justice.
