Ajay Devgn (born Vishal Virender Devgan on 2 April 1969) is a Hindi cinema actor, director, and producer with over 100 films spanning action, drama, and comedy genres. He won the National Film Award for Best Actor for Tanhaji (2020) and Zakhm (1998), and launched his career with the Filmfare Best Male Debut award for Phool Aur Kaante (1991); his role as the suave gangster Sultan Mirza in Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai (2010) and the tough cop Bajirao Singham in Rohit Shetty's Singham (2011) rank among his most iconic commercial performances.
