Rajeshwari Sachdev is a Hindi cinema actress best known for her work in parallel and art-house films, particularly her long association with director Shyam Benegal across 8 films. She won the 1997 National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Benegal's Sardari Begum (1996), and also appeared in his Mammo (1995) and Suraj Ka Satvan Ghoda (1993).
