• Jagan and Rohini first worked together because Jagan was a huge fan of Rohini's work in 'Mouna Ragam'. He wrote her a letter asking her to play his mother in 'Venmegam' (2014). She said yes because the letter was handwritten and very emotional.
• On the set of 'Uyire Uyire' (2016), Rohini would quietly rewrite her own lines in Tamil slang to match Jagan's natural delivery. Jagan then started matching her rhythm. They never discussed it — just did it take after take.
• During the shoot of 'Vinodhan' (2017), Jagan and Rohini had a running bet: whoever flubbed a line first had to buy the other a box of 'Mysurpa' from the canteen. Rohini lost every single day. Jagan still jokes she funded his snack habit.
