• Nassar personally recommended Atul Kulkarni to director Siva for Veeram (2014). Siva wanted a familiar face for the villain role, but Nassar insisted Atul's intensity would elevate the film. That call got Atul his first Tamil film.
• In Veeram, Nassar played the calm, wise father figure while Atul played the explosive antagonist. Atul later said Nassar's stillness on set forced him to dial down his own performance — making their confrontation scenes feel more real.
• During Ghazi (2017) shoot, both actors shared a room in a cramped naval base guesthouse for two weeks. They'd rehearse lines at 3 AM because the submarine set was only available at odd hours. Nassar made tea for both of them every night.
• The Ghazi Attack (2017) was the first Telugu film both acted in together — and it directly inspired the Tamil version Ghazi (2017) released the same year. Without their joint commitment to do both language versions back-to-back, the Tamil version might never have been made.
