• Brahmanandam and Bharat first shared screen space in Slokam (2005) because director Muppalaneni Shiva needed a comic subplot to balance the film's heavy family drama. Brahmanandam was cast first, and he personally suggested Bharat for the role of his on-screen sidekick — a rare instance of a comedian handpicking his straight man.
• In Ayinda Leda (2005), Brahmanandam and Bharat developed a silent comedy rhythm: Brahmanandam would deliver a rapid-fire monologue, then pause and stare at Bharat, who would react with just a slow blink or a head tilt. The director later said that Bharat's deadpan timing made Brahmanandam's jokes land harder.
• During the shoot of Maa Idhari Madhya (2006), Brahmanandam and Bharat shared a room in a small lodge near the sets. Every night, they would rehearse the next day's scenes by swapping roles — Brahmanandam would play Bharat's part and vice versa — to find the funniest delivery.
