• They first came together in 'Dilwale' (1994) because producer Subhash Ghai wanted a fresh pair for the younger generation. Ghai personally paired Sunil and Raveena after seeing their individual screen tests — he felt their energy matched.
• In 'Mohra' (1994), Raveena’s character was the emotional anchor while Sunil played the action hero. She later said she had to tone down her natural energy on set so his brooding intensity could breathe — they found a rhythm where she softened his edges.
• During the shoot of 'Krishna' (1996), Sunil and Raveena developed a running joke: whoever flubbed a dialogue first had to buy the other a plate of biryani. Raveena claims she still owes him three plates from that film.
