• Raveena Tandon was the one who pushed for Paresh Rawal to be cast in 'Andaz Apna Apna' (1994). She had worked with him in a Gujarati play and told director Rajkumar Santoshi, 'He’s the only one who can play Teja.' Santoshi agreed after a single audition.
• In 'Mohra' (1994), Paresh Rawal’s villain was so menacing that Raveena Tandon actually flinched during a scene where he grabbed her arm. The director kept the take because her fear looked real. Rawal later said, 'She made me look more dangerous by being genuinely scared.'
• During the shoot of 'Dilwale' (1994), Raveena Tandon and Paresh Rawal developed a running joke: every time the director yelled 'cut', Rawal would break into a garba step. Tandon would join him. The crew called them 'the garba gang' for the rest of the schedule.

Director Priyadarshan has admitted that the way Rawal played off Tandon’s straight-faced reactions made him realize Rawal could be both funny and threatening — a template he used for the character of Baburao.
• In 'Vijeta' (1996), Raveena Tandon played a journalist and Paresh Rawal played a corrupt politician. They had zero scenes together — but Rawal insisted on being on set during her monologue scene. He told the director, 'I want to see her work. She makes me better.' Tandon later said his presence made her deliver her best take.
