• Nassar and Ali first shared screen space in Varudu (2010), but their real partnership kicked off when director Harish Shankar cast them together in Rachcha (2012). Shankar later said he specifically wanted this duo to bounce off each other's comic timing.
• In Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu (2012), Nassar played the villain while Ali was the comic sidekick. Their scenes worked because Nassar would deliberately slow down his delivery, letting Ali fill the gaps with rapid-fire one-liners — a rhythm they perfected over four films in a single year.
• Their pairing in Naa Ishtam (2012) directly inspired director Ravi Chavali to write a full-length comedy track for them in the film. That track became so popular that it was later referenced in a 2015 TV sketch on Gemini TV.
