• Jayasudha and Vennela Kishore first shared screen space in Yevadu (2014), but they didn't share a single dialogue. Their characters never met — she played Ram Charan's mother, he played a comic sidekick in a different track. The director, Vamsi Paidipally, later admitted he didn't realize they hadn't interacted until the edit was locked.
• In Eedu Gold Ehe (2016), Jayasudha played Kishore's mother-in-law on screen. Off screen, she kept breaking character because Kishore's deadpan delivery made her laugh. She told the director she'd never worked with a comedian who could make her corpsing this hard — and she'd worked with Brahmanandam for decades.
• On the sets of Maharshi (2019), Jayasudha started calling Vennela Kishore 'my son' even when the cameras weren't rolling. He returned the favour by bringing her homemade pickles from his mother's kitchen every single day of the shoot. The habit stuck — he still sends her pickles during Sankranti.
• Vennela Kishore said in a 2019 interview: 'Jayasudha garu is the only co-star who scolds me like a real mother when I skip meals on set. She doesn't care if the director is waiting — she'll make me sit and eat first.'
