Trivia

  • The film's working title was 'Yamaleela 2' as it was a spiritual successor to the 1994 fantasy comedy 'Yamaleela'.

  • Director Siva and actor Ravi Teja collaborated for the third time here, after 'Vikramarkudu' and 'Kick'.
  • The movie's plot is loosely inspired by the 1993 Hollywood film 'Heaven Can Wait', which itself is a remake.
  • A special set replicating Yamalokam (the underworld) was built in Ramanaidu Studios, which was one of the film's major production expenses.
  • The character 'Bullet Raja' was named after Ravi Teja's popular nickname from his earlier mass action roles.
  • Despite mixed reviews, the film was a commercial success, running for over 50 days in many theaters across Andhra Pradesh.
