• Kajol almost didn't sign Baazigar (1993) because she thought Shah Rukh's character was too dark. Her mother, Tanuja, had to convince her to take the role — and that film made them both stars.
• On the sets of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), Shah Rukh would deliberately mess up his lines to make Kajol laugh — and director Aditya Chopra kept those takes because her natural, irritated reactions were exactly what the scene needed.
