• They first clashed on screen in Dictator (2016) because director Ranjith Sankar needed a towering villain to match Vishal's intensity. Kabir Duhan Singh was flown in from Hyderabad specifically for that role, and Sayaji Shinde was cast as the older antagonist. The two never shared a single dialogue in that film — their scenes were edited separately.
• In Action (2019), Sayaji Shinde played the calm, calculating police officer while Kabir Duhan Singh was the explosive gangster. The director Sundar C. said in an interview that he deliberately kept them apart in the first half — their only face-off happens in the climax, and it was shot in one continuous take because both actors refused to break character.
